The medication does the weight loss.
This is how you keep it.

Losing the weight was the easy part — your prescription did that. What almost no one gives you is a plan for your muscle, your nutrition, and the day you stop. That’s exactly what these six weeks are for.

The part no one warns you about

You've lost the weight. So why doesn't it feel finished?

Because some quiet part of you knows the number on the scale isn’t the whole story. What happens if I stop? Am I losing muscle along with the fat? Will it all come back? Those aren’t anxious thoughts — they’re the right questions. And they’re the ones a prescription can’t answer.
A GLP-1 medication is brilliant at reducing appetite. But eating less is not the same as eating well, and appetite suppression quietly makes it harder to get the protein, fibre and nutrients your body needs to stay strong. The medication removes the hunger. It doesn’t hand you a plan.

“You didn’t come this far to give it back.”

Why this matters

Three things most GLP-1 users are never told

You're not only losing fat using these drugs

Rapid weight loss strips muscle and bone too, unless you actively protect them. Muscle is what keeps you strong, keeps your metabolism up, and keeps the weight off. Lose it quietly now and you pay for it later.

Smaller portions, bigger gaps

When you eat far less, it becomes genuinely hard to hit your protein, fibre and micronutrient targets. Fatigue, hair loss and low mood are often the first signs — and they’re avoidable with the right plan.

The habits keep it off, not the drugs

The medication buys you a window. What you do inside that window — the eating patterns, the strength work, the mindset — is what decides whether the results last a year or a lifetime.

A different way to think about it

This isn't a diet. It's the scaffolding around your results.

Think of your weight loss as a building that’s gone up fast. Nourish & Thrive is the structure that keeps it standing once the medication comes down — the protein and muscle plan, the nutrition that fills the gaps, the habits that hold, and a doctor who actually measures how you’re doing rather than guessing.

Over six weeks, in a small group led by Dr Helen Lawal, you’ll build the part of the picture your prescription was never designed to cover — so the results you’ve worked for become results you get to keep.

Your doctor for the next six weeks

Not an app. Not a leaflet. A GP who has done this for 15 years.

Dr Helen Lawal is a portfolio GP with 15 years of clinical experience and specialist interests in nutrition, contraception and neurodiversity. Alongside her medical degree she holds a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and qualifications as a Nutritionist and Health Coach — a rare combination for a programme that’s as much about muscle and movement as it is about food.

A former Regional Director for the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, she has always believed health is more than a number: it’s stress, sleep, emotional wellbeing and connection too. She’s known for helping people let go of limiting beliefs and build a kinder, more sustainable relationship with food.

You may also have seen her on Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped — she has over a decade of experience making medical information genuinely engaging and easy to act on. That’s exactly what these six weeks feel like.

Feel genuinely confident about what to eat on a GLP-1

Good questions

Before you decide

Not at all. The best time to protect your muscle and build good habits is at the start, while your appetite is changing. The programme is designed for people starting treatment, already on it, or thinking ahead to stopping.

Then this is arguably the most important six weeks you could spend. Week 6 is dedicated entirely to life after GLP-1s — creating your long-term plan and preventing weight regain — and the whole programme is built around making your results last beyond the prescription.

No — they’re entirely optional add-ons. Many people find them reassuring because they turn “am I healthy?” into real numbers, but the programme stands on its own without them.

Capped at 10 people. It’s deliberately small so you get to ask your own questions and Dr Helen can give you real attention each week — the opposite of a giant anonymous webinar.

Six live online sessions, Wednesdays, choose 12:00–13:00 or 18:00–19:00, starting 16 September 2026. If you can’t make a session live, you’ll still be supported to keep pace.

The programme provides evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle education in a group setting, led by a GP. It complements — and never replaces — the care of your own prescriber. If you’d like fully individual medical guidance, the optional 1:1 upgrade and the Clarity Pathway are there for you.

Places are limited to 10

Keep the results you worked so hard for.

The September group is small and it will fill. Reserve your place now, or start with the £20 webinar — fully credited if you join — and decide from there.
